Thanks Rahul, but WordPress isn’t making it simple either. I am right now trying to get spaces between paragraphs. There are many other issues like I am not able to change to a font of my choice etc. Guess will learn the ropes slowly.
Go to Write-> In the Text Editor that open–>click on the last button in the horizontal strip that has those button for Bold, Italic, adding link etc. It looks like a color palette. That’s the button that activates the advanced dashboard.

You can change the font color/size/type by activating the advanced dashboard from your blog post editor.
I use Windows Live Writer to blog and it’s much easier that way.
